Gas customers can also take advantage of lower-priced tariffs with the lowest discounted tariff at €1,104 from Flogas, a €509 saving compared to the most expensive plan. (data is from 2025 and all prices referenced are Estimated Annual Bills based on typical Irish household consumption).
Switching is an opportunity for customers to make savings. Price comparison websites can help consumers work out the best price plan and energy supplier. The CRU has accredited four price comparison websites, www.bonkers.ie, www.switcher.ie, and www.powertoswitch.ie and energy switch to help customers easily compare the competing tariffs on offer from energy suppliers.
As the market continues to evolve, the CRU is encouraging customers to consider switching for better value.
